I rather like the new Mahindra 2 wheeler ads. They are different from the usual "Vroom" kind of bike ads. They tell people to drive responsibly. We need more of such ads. Way to go people!

Yesterday's episode of "Anthony Bourdain - No Reservations" was on New York. I envied the guy as he went around the neighborhood sampling dishes from Indian, Sri Lankan, Mexican and Chinese cuisine. The only time I couldn't watch it was when he gobbled up some Korean food - it seemed very alive :-(

With all due respect to those who lost their lives in yesterday's blasts in Pakistan, I find it rather suspicious that these blasts occurred after the US President reiterated his belief that Pakistan was more of a victim than the exporter of terrorism. :-(

Have a date with INS Vikrant

The Navy Week is here again and has brought with it yet another chance for the Mumbaikars to visit INS Vikrant. This light aircraft carrier of the Indian Navy has played an important role in the 1971 war. After being decommissioned in 1997, she has been converted into a museum.

INS Vikrant can be visited between 13-22 November, 10am-5pm at Tiger Gate, Naval Dockyard, Balard Estate.

Okay, so the state of Maharashtra has got a brand new CM now. If the newspapers are to be believed, then he is cleaner than any newly bathed baby. Well, well, well......I believe that politicians should be assumed corrupt until proven clean :-) As they say, Only Time Will Tell.
