The Aruna Shanbaug case has hit the headlines again. The debate on Euthanasia is endless. But what surprises me is that no one is talking about the psycho who committed this crime. Hell, we don't even see his photo any time this case is mentioned. Or is this the violation of his "basic human rights"?

The right to die with dignity should be of the most fundamental rights of a human being. There should not be any two opinions about this. Any person would prefer death as compared to leading a fruitless life that is solely supported by others. Aruna has a right to die. But we must ensure that she gets justice before she departs from this world. As far as I know, the person who did this was not punished for his crime. There should be a nationwide hunt for this man. Arrest him, try him for his crimes and hang him.

Only then can we talk about letting Aruna go.
