Bangalore-based Pratham Books has undertaken a campaign on the occasion of International Literacy Day (7th September) .
You can register on their site http://www.prathambooks.org/one-day-one-story-2013 and select a book in the language of your choice (Marathi, Hindi, English, Kannada or Telegu). They will send it to you for free.
Then it is up to you to arrange a story-telling session with kids. Even if the books are available in 5 languages only you can conduct the session in any language of your choice. Just don't forget to send some form of documentation about the event (video, picture or write-up) to them.
