Here we go again! Just when I was talking about investments, a piece of news that makes me wonder whether there is any point in breaking my head over long-term investments ;-)

An Australian scientist has said that human species will be extinct in another 100 years. This comes closely on the heels of a prediction by a Cambridge professor. He has warned of a cataclysmic event in 2014. So if we survive 2012, next hurdle is going to be in 2014 - that is if no one predicts any doomsday event for 2013.

Guess Hollywood should make all the "Apocalypse Now" types of movies in 2010 and 2011. :-) The clock is ticking folks! :-)
