I guess this season is all about bringing back the Dead or those presumed to be dead. Last season's Finale saw departure of Castiel, Mary, Rowena and Crowley. Only Crowley has stayed dead so far without any hope of being resurrected - I guess simply because Mark Sheppard has categorically ruled out returning to the show. As if this wasn't enough, we saw the return of Arthur Ketch, Bobby and Kevin Tran in this season - though to be sure, the last two are from the parallel universe. And now the newest addition to this group seems to be Charlie Bradbury!
I had forgotten that Gabriel was dead. Turns out he wasn't dead after all. Surprise! It was a mistake to leave Sam and Castiel to take care of him. He easily outsmarted them to slip out after his needs were met. The only silver lining in this whole sordid episode was Gabriel's bumping off of Asmodeus before doing the Houdini act. That's one less matter to take care of by the time the Finale rolls over.
