Last week, while going through the section in Mint that lists events happening over the weekend in 6 of the metros, I came across these unusual names. Here is the recipe for Tomato Pappu. I didn't find it very different from the normal daal preparations. Garlic in a sweet dish, though, sounded a little exotic. Luckily, my favorite chef, Sanjeev Kapoor has put up a recipe on the net. I just have to muster enough courage to try this at home :-)
