I am not sure about the Ayodhya verdict. On one hand, it is good news that the courts haven't ruled in favor of any one party. But that also means that they have left the door open for future bickering and court cases. I think it would have been in country's best interests if the courts had directed that the place be used for constructing a school or a hospital. (I am not even sure if the courts can rule like that. So much so for learning civics in school!) I don't think the 3 parties will decide something similar on their own :-(

Of course, there is no guarantee that such a school or hospital will not be razed to the ground in future by fanatics of one side or another. Perhaps, it will be best if the site hosts prayer places of all the religions in India. That way no one will dare touch it in future - except may be the atheists!
