I am getting rather tired of the entire Harbhajan-Symonds saga. Poor Bhajji can't even scratch his armpits without everyone accusing him of making fun of Symonds. :-)

But then this whole perpetual circus reminds me of another episode. Remember "Kekta Kkapoor" and her daily pot-boiler called "Saas bhi kabhi bahu thi"? The character of Mihir died in it one fine day and the whole country was in uproar. Even people who earlier avoided the serial like plague started watching it just to see what this whole drama was about. The TRP went up like a baloon detached from its strings.

I wonder, I just wonder if the first spat between Bhajji and Symonds and the controversy it generated gave some people an idea to use it to get more and more eyeballs glued to the screens during matches. I guess our Hockey and Football teams are well advised to start such controversies for that much needed boost for the games :-)

So since we all seem to have descended from the apes anyways, can we term this whole saga "Kyonki Symonds bhi kabhi monkey tha"? :-)
