"Listen" and "Silent" are two words with same alphabets and are very important in friendship.

Because, only a true friend can "Listen" to you when you are "Silent"!

Laugh so much that even sorrow smiles at you.
Live life so well that even death loves to see you alive.

Fight so hard that even fate accepts its defeat!

I am reading Agatha Christie's "Passenger to Frankfurt". I know I have to write about "Veronika Decides to Die". I will find time over the weekend.
Speaking of Hitler, I read a news item the other day about how one guard at one of the Nazi camps, aged 89 now, was recently taken from his home in the US and deported to Germany. He had to be flown by an air ambulance and was apparently crying. Is this the case of one's fate finally catching up with one or of someone who was at the wrong place at the wrong time? For all we know, there would have been many who would have disapproved of the Fuhrer and all that he stood for and yet had to work for him.

It's painful to watch any news channel these days. I wonder if that Arnab Gosvami even goes home. Any time of the day you switch on that channel and his face is staring at you from the screen. Funny thing is I don't remember if it's Times Now or CNN-IBN. I think it's Times Now.

Anyways, I never thought it was possible to hate the politicians any more than I already hated. But every time I look at them smiling at each other for the benefit of the photographers, shaking hands, hugging and giving gifts, I feel as if I should move the TV close to the sink so I can throw up my latest breakfast/lunch/dinner easily. :-( It's sickening to see how everyone is calling up everyone else to see if they can garner enough support to get a chance of making money for the next 5 years.

And someone please tell that journo on one either CNN-IBN or Times Now to stop referring to Jayalalitha as J. Jayalalitha. Every time she says that I am reminded of that foreigner in Mr. India who keeps chanting "Jay Hanuman". Not to mention that it also sounds like "Heil Hitler"! :-)

Losing a match by 2 runs! I don't know how Mumbai Indians manage to lose by 2 or 3 runs. If that's not pathetic I don't know what is. I keep telling myself that it is stupid to mourn over their loss because that team is not made up of players from Mumbai only. It has Indian players from other cities and also international players. But the word "Mumbai" in their name is where all logic fails me. I am miserable and guess will remain so at least for whole day today :-(

I asked God to give me "Everything" so that I can enjoy "Life".
He smiled and replied "I have given you 'Life' to enjoy 'Everything'!"

There is rhyme in every flower.

There is silhoutte to every shade.

There is pain in every heart.

There are dreams which do not fade...

There is a dusk on every skyline.

There is a moon on meadows bright.

My desires becoming your dreams.

Your dreaming eyes dance in delight.

There is a sonnet in every heartbeat.

There are smiles not getting crisper.

There is a glitter in every star.

Like ecstacy in your whisper.

I know lately I have been posting only the forwarded material. That, however, is not for want of original material. Time has become scarce and I hope the present situation won't continue for long. So here goes....

No matter what, no matter where,

It's always home, if love is there.

One of my most favorite authors is in Mumbai and I am out of the city. I am talking about Jefferey Archer. I must have cursed myself a thousand times since I watched it on News today morning :-(
